About Ecoplant®
Ecoplant® Sun Tracing Solar Systems is a highly efficient power generator that can efficiently charge energy using monocrystalline solar panels. The Ecoplant therefore offers CO2-neutral solar harvesting, battery storage, security cameras, street lighting, and a charging station all in one.
Thanks to the Ecoplant®'s built-in mechanism, which allows the solar panels to automatically track the sun 24/7, we make highly efficient use of the available solar power. The Ecoplant is a freestanding, sun-tracking device that can be installed anywhere around your home, in your garden, on your business premises, or anywhere else you want, and be up and running within two hours. Ecoplant is portable and available in both on-grid and off-grid energy solutions (permit-friendly).

Smart Solar Plant

High temperatures will reduce the effectiveness of the panel so the Ecoplant will take advantage of the wind to reduce the temperature. No overheating, less chance to catch fire.

Different Ecoplant® models
ECOPLANT HEX2000
The Ecoplant® HEX2000 is the latest (small) Ecoplant that takes up little space (solar blade diameter only 2.5 meters!).
The HEX2000 is equipped with 8 ultra-light PERC Bi-facial matted glass panels.
Because these panels capture solar energy on both sides, each panel can capture up to 300Wp of power. The special maintenance-friendly hexagonal shape of the column provides maximum interior space and full accessibility all around.
The model has a maximum height of 3.42 meters and is ideal for on-grid and off-grid applications.
Why choose the HEX2000?
The freestanding HEX2000 provides constant energy while preventing inefficiency (heat shutdown) of the solar panels.
For your safety and security, the HEX2000 can be optionally equipped with a professional day/night camera. This 240˚ high-resolution camera can be operated remotely.
The Ecoplant HEX2000 also offers excellent LED street lighting, providing light where needed without the need for expensive cabling. This model weighs 250 kg and can be placed on a concrete base (permit-friendly).
ECOPLANT HEX4000
The Ecoplant® HEX4000 is the latest (large) model in the Ecoplant series. It is not only the latest but also the most efficient model in our range.
Equipped with 9 ultra-light PERC Bi-facial solar panels, with a total capacity of 4.6kWp, a real powerhouse! The bi-facial (2-sided) solar panels not only catch the sun on the front side, but because of the Albedo effect the sun reflecs at the back solar sheet for almost 90% back. More power without extra material, a wonderful Dutch invention.
Why choose the HEX4000?
The freestanding HEX4000 provides constant energy, preventing inefficiency (heat shutdown) of the solar panels and has a Wp of 520 per panel.
Of course, this beautiful energy can be supplied with an LFP home battery. For your safety and security, the HEX4000 can be optionally equipped with a professional day/night camera. This 240˚ high-resolution camera can be operated remotely.
The Ecoplant HEX4000 also offers excellent LED street lighting, providing light where you need it without the need for expensive cabling. This model weighs 600 kg and can be placed on a concrete base (permit-friendly), but if the ground allows it, you can also use ground pins for quick and easy installation.

The Ecoplant® HEX600 is the most economical model in our range. It features ultra-light monocrystalline EFTE solar panels. The special maintenance-friendly hexagonal shape provides maximum interior space and full accessibility all around.
This model has a maximum height of 3.60 meters and is ideal for on-grid and off-grid applications.

ECOPLANT HEX3000
The Ecoplant® HEX3000 can supply a four-person household with electricity throughout the year. In addition, the HEX3000 is suitable for charging your electric vehicles and can be equipped with no fewer than five car charging points and is fitted with over 18m² of light monocrystalline EFTE solar panels.
We offer high-quality LiFePo4 batteries that can store up to 42kWh of reserve energy in the column. The batteries can feed energy back into the grid via a smart grid inverter, but are also suitable for peak shaving.
This model has a maximum height of 4.60 meters and a diameter of 4.30 meters. The HEX3000 fits easily into public spaces, business parks, or homes without requiring a permit.
Advantages of the HEX3000
A major advantage of the hexagonal shape is that the device provides access to the interior from all six sides. The shape also makes it possible to install more batteries.
The housing is optimally fireproof. An ingenious ventilation system (underpressure and overpressure) is used to prevent high temperatures³ as much as possible. The robust hexagonal column is designed for optimal, natural cooling.
The HEX3000 weighs 810 kg and can be placed on a concrete base (permit-friendly).
ECOPLANT IX1200
The IX1200 is equipped with six monocrystalline EFTE solar panels. The powerful batteries can store up to 2.88 kWh of energy as a reserve and, thanks to the hybrid Smart Grid Inverter, can feed energy back into the grid.
This model has a maximum height of 3.60 meters, a diameter of 2.50 meters, and is ideal for off-grid applications. This model can supply power to more than 20 bicycles per day.
An ingenious ventilation system (underpressure and overpressure) is installed to prevent high temperatures as much as possible.
Design
The robust steel, cylindrical column is designed with optimal natural cooling in mind. For your safety and security, the IX can be optionally equipped with a professional day/night camera. This 240˚ high-resolution camera can be remotely controlled via a simple app.
The Ecoplant® provides you with energy and does not require expensive cabling. The IX weighs 350 kg and can be placed on a concrete base. It can also be fitted with an additional concrete pedestal, raising the Ecoplant® by half a meter.
ECOPLANT PHLX5000
The PHLX5000 can supply a four-person household with power throughout the year. The PHLX is also suitable for charging your electric car or for site security and lighting.
The PHLX has a maximum height of 4.60 meters and a diameter of 4.30 meters. With the PHLX, you can install an on-grid, off-grid, or hybrid version, which is permit-friendly and offers all the features of the Ecoplant®.
Fire safety
The housing is optimally fireproof. An ingenious ventilation system (negative and positive pressure) is installed to prevent high temperatures as much as possible. The robust steel, cylindrical column is designed with optimal natural cooling in mind, so that the PHLX can continue to produce energy and thus prevent the solar panels from becoming ineffective (heat shutdown).
This model weighs 810 kg and can be placed on a concrete base (no permit required).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the energy capacity of the Ecoplant
The Ecoplant has an energy capacity of 2000 kWh to 7000kWh a year, based on the average number of sun hours as measured at the Dutch weather station ‘De Bilt’ (according to statistics; 2000 sun hours per year).
Why is an Ecoplant efficient
The Ecoplant is always perfectly aligned towards the sun because it rotates with the sun. The Ecoplant is also longer enabled because of the freestanding installation. The freestanding installation is also the naturally cooling system of the Ecoplant.
Is an Ecoplant comparable with a solar panel on a roof
Not really! An Ecoplant is capable of way more and doesn’t wait passively for the sun. In addition, it can be used as an energy buffer, security, lighting and as a charging station.
What is the energy storage capacity of the Ecoplant
The Ecoplant can store a maximum of 60 kWh.
Are permits required?
There may be an all-in-one permit for physical aspects, although the Ecoplant is mobile and is lower than 5 meters.
The Ecoplant is equipped with various smart functions (IOT) what about the security of this data?
The data is stored on a secure server and can be requested after authorization.
